I just wanted to post this totally inspirational short film by Chris Jones. After seeing the short, I highly recommend visiting his site and checking out how he went about making the film. Stuff like this reminds me that I should get back to working on my own project… sigh.

We are very excited to bring you our first Podcast with Ted Ty! Ted has a great amount of experience animating in both 2d and 3d. He’s worked on films such as Pocahontas, Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and is currently working on Shrek Forever After.  Ted is also the Year Four Traditional Animation Instructor at Cal Arts.  Ted sat down with us to talk about how he got started, making the transition from 2d to 3d, and gave us some great advice on animation.

Hey everyone, this is our new promotional video for our very first podcast with Ted Ty.

OOPS:  I regret to inform you that somehow I forgot to include “Kung Fu Panda” in Ted’s scrolling credits in the beginning of the video.  My fault.  Ted did some amazing work on that film and he deserves recognition for it.  Sorry Ted!  -Jacob
